Each year, Pressley Ridge helps thousands of children learn, grow and thrive through the support of a safe and nurturing foster home. And it all starts with one person deciding to be the difference for a child in need.
Treatment Foster Care
Children who enter treatment foster care bring with them their own set of special needs – most importantly, the need for a stable family life. These children, infants to age 21, are affected by trauma, and as a result, may have behavioral or emotional needs. Our foster parents are specially trained to support a child’s emotional and developmental needs and are continually supported by Pressley Ridge professionals who provide a caring network of support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Adoption
We do everything we can to reunite our youth with their biological parents, but sometimes their families cannot provide a healthy, safe and permanent home. Pressley Ridge is a state-approved, licensed adoption program that helps our youth find nurturing, loving homes – no matter their age. Every adoption is different and is not just a one-time event, but a lifelong relationship. We offer pre- and post-adoption services designed to make the family stronger – through the adoption process and beyond.
